Wildlife Pond for Aberlour Glebe Garden

Community gardens grow more than food. Behind this year’s bumper crop of tomatoes is the wonderful work of the Aberlour Glebe Garden - a community space that is growing food AND cultivating community wellbeing.

With support from Moray CAN, and through the Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund and Moray Council, the Garden will now be putting in a new wildlife pond, fostering greater biodiversity in the garden and the local environment.

Young people from Speyside Highschool will also take a key role in helping to develop the pond, with work beginning in 2025.
